About
The Sobota Jachira law firm was established in late 2016 as the fruit of close cooperation between its partners - attorney Adam Sobota and Jedrzej Jachira. From the very beginning, the law firm gained recognition thanks to its involvement in the cases of Frankovichs, setting trends in the field of cancellation of mortgage contracts linked to the exchange rate of the Swiss franc.
We were one of the first law firms in Poland to take up the fight for the rights of the Frankovichs, believing in the legitimacy of these claims despite initial skepticism. Our actions initiated groundbreaking changes, including:
- Participation in landmark judgments - such as that of the Court of Justice of the European Union on October 3, 2019 in the Dziubak case, which changed the fate of thousands of Frankovichs.
- First settlements in Poland - including the suspension of the repayment of loans in francs, the repeal of the statute of limitations on claims, or the dismissal of unjustified claims by banks for the use of capital.
- Hundreds of won cases - so far we have obtained several hundred favorable verdicts, winning in more than 98% of cases and implementing all verdicts to the end.
